Cuba tested a vaccine against AIDS!!

Cuban team of top biotehnichari successfully tested a new AIDS vaccine on mice, and hopes that soon will start tests on humans - was published in the international biotech conference that began yesterday in Havana.


"A new trial vaccine against AIDS has been tested successfully on mice and are now preparing for the controlled phase of clinical trials on HIV positive patients who are at an advanced stage of disease," said Enrique Iglezijas, head of the research team told AFP.


"Cuba annually consumes more than 200 million programs for prevention and care of AIDS, including free care with antiretroviral, some of which are of Cuban production," said Iglezijas.
